Seth Pettit
Owner and founder of Mojave Guides, Seth has climbed extensively in the United States, as well as Canada and Mexico, since he began in 1999. He has been guiding for 14 years, working for more than 10 businesses in 7 states. Seth is an AMGA Certified Rock Instructor, SPI, and Apprentice Rock Guide. He is a Certified Wilderness First Responder and a member of the JTNP Technical Rescue Team.
James Murphy
A local resident, Murph spends most of his year here with us, but guides for our friends at Atlantic Climbing School in Bar Harbor, ME in the summer months. He has climbed all over the United States and Asia, including Vietnam, Thailand and Malaysia. Murph is an AMGA certified Single Pitch Instructor and a Wilderness First Responder.
Ryan Mann
Ryan is an AMGA Apprentice Rock Guide, a Certified Single Pitch Instructor, and a Wilderness First Responder. He is a JT local resident, but travels incessantly to feed his obsession with climbing. His resume includes routes as hard as 5.13 and many destinations around the world. A bit of a training junky, Ryan can definitely help you improve your climbing skills. You may find that his stoke for climbing in Joshua Tree is contagious!
